Everything I Had Known About You
Everything I Had Known About You shows a glimpse into the world of Marcy, a middle aged wife and mother, who attempts to rediscover her identity after her husband leaves on business. Throughout this journey, our expectations of aging women left alone are called into quesiton when narrative tropes are revealed to be both fabricated and flawed. Suddenly, the boundary between fiction and documentary blur and the filmaker's real mother, Christine, is given a chance to speak. When pulled between family and autonomy, how do differing perspectives adjust our sense of freedom and truth?
